Europump Maintenance is now able to install CCTV equipment following a new partnership with Dutch retail security technology provider Big Brother.
The partnership involves Europump becoming a UK installer of the Watch-it CCTV system, which uses number-plate recognition and flags up high-risk plates by accessing a DVLA database.
Europump already has a fleet of cherry pickers for working at height and engineers with experience of installing CCTV camera systems so it has been comparatively straight forward to add this new service.
Europump has installed Watch-it at two Shell-branded sites in Leeds and Churlwell, West Yorkshire, and we have also received an order to install the system for another independent site in Peterborough, which has been plagued by drive offs.
Edward Wheeler, Group Managing Director of Eurotank, said: “This new partnership is an important next step in our customer offer.
“The installation and maintenance of the Big Brother system slots in nicely with our existing service capabilities and we will be working to integrate the system with some of our other products.”
